Microsoft Word: How to use document templates

The objective of this page is to demonstrate how you can use a previously uploaded Word template to easily create documents from system records.

Download empty Word Template
System Admin
Add placeholder data to the Word Template

Import the template back into the system

Create document based on template

Voraussetzungen für den nächsten Schritt

  • The template was previously downloaded as empty file, filled with information, and imported back into the system
  • You are the System Administrator

Click Through

  • Start in HR HUB
  • Open the area where you wish to create a document from a template (e.g .Employment Terms)
  • Check the checkmark for the entry you wish to create a document from
  • On the top ribbon, click on Word Templates
  • Click on the desired template
  • The file will automatically be created and then open in Microsoft Word

Hinweis

  • Since many templates can be uploaded, you can use Word templates according to your needs, for example to create Employment Terms or Work Certificates.
  • The functionality is by default restricted to System Administrators, but this can be changed by adjusting the security role of the necessary employees who will need to use templates.
