How to deactivate page limit for Absence Calendar records (optional)

Objective

The record limitation for the absence calendar was implemented in order to restrict the amount of records that are displayed per page. Independent of the amount of records set in the Personalization Settings, the calendar will only show the predetermined amount of records.

In standard, the feature is delivered with the record limitation on, and therefore the limitation on the amount of data that is displayed. But here we show how it can be deactivated, in case you would rather see all records on one page. Please be aware that with very large record numbers, this may lead to performance issues.

Prerequisites

  • You are System Administrator

Click Through

  • Start in HR HUB
  • Click on the gear icon (right upper corner)
  • Click on Advanced Settings
  • Click on the funnel icon (top right corner)
  • Look for Hubdrive Settings Keys
  • Click on Results
  • Double click on AbsenceCalendarDefaultPagingLimit
  • In order to be able to change the value, please set 'Record maintained by' to Self-Maintained at the bottom of the form
  • Change the Value to 0
  • Save and close

Hint

  • The settings keys for the absence calendar are delivered on (1) by default.
  • The settings can be adjusted at any time, so if later you decide to use the functionality again, just repeat the steps and change the value.
  • You can only set the limit to be on (Value: 1, 40 entries per page) or off (Value: 0, all entries on one page). Please do not enter a different number than 0 or 1 as Value.
  • You can find more information about the values in the "Details" section of the Settings page.

Result

After following all the steps, the page will look like this:
