For the creation of Work Certificates, a standard set of Work Certificate Ratings is already delivered out-of-the-box in HR for Dynamics. During the creation of a Work Certificate, you rate the employee's performance in regard to specific topics.
Hubdrive then creates a complete Work Certificate out of standardized text components based on your appraisal.
On this page, you learn how to add Work Certificate Ratings, in case you want to use different text components or rate other topics than those delivered out-of-the-box.

Sets the "Record maintained by" field to Self-maintained
Prerequisites
- You are HR manager and have a valid license assigned
Click Through
- Start in HR HUB
- In the lower left corner, switch from Overview to Settings
- Under Talent Management, click on Work Certificate Ratings
- Select + New
- Populate the fields:
- Rating: Enter numerical rating based on the appropriate appraisal level
- Rating Grade: Select a Rating Grade based on the appropriate Rating level
- Topic: Select the required Topic based on requirements
- Text Variation: Write down the Text Variation you would like to show when selecting the specified Rating and Topic during Work Certificate creation.
- Text Variations Male: Where languages, such as German and French, have gender specific requirements these can be set up here for male employees.
- Text Variations Female: Where languages, such as German and French, have gender specific requirements these can be set up here for female employees.
- Record maintained by: Select Self Maintained
- Save & Close
Hint
- Selecting Record maintained by 'Self Maintained' will ensure that a solution update will not overwrite this record. Always set records to 'Self Maintained' if you want to keep them long-term.
- To change an already existing text component, select it from the list instead of creating a new one. Add changes as you wish, then set the record to 'Self maintained' before saving when you're done.
Result
You will now have an additional Work Certificate Rating that can be used in future Work Certificates. Below, you see an example of a filled out Work Certificate Rating.
