Set up the Stepstone integration
Objective
This guide will help you post a Vacancy on StepStone. When a candidate applies via StepStone with their CV using 'Quick-Apply', the data from the CV is sent to Textkernel for CV parsing. StepStone receives this data back as an XML file, which is transferred directly into the Hubdrive system. Explicit CV parsing on your part is then no longer necessary.

Configure the Vacancy
Prerequisites
- You are HR Manager
- You have a license from StepStone
Click Through
- Start in HR HUB
- Navigate to Settings at the bottom left
- Open Recruiting Channels under Recruiting
- Double click on the entry for StepStone
- Select Authenticate StepStone
- A dialogue box will open, enter the information you received from StepStone:
- Endpoint Service URL: https://jobfeed.stepstone.com/listing/httpxml.cfm.utf-8Login
- Username for StepStone API Endpoint: Enter your username
- Login Password for StepStone API Endpoint: Enter your password
- Select Next
- Now enter your company name registered in StepStone, as well as the customer number, organisation Id or recruiter Id.
- Click Next
- Close the dialogue and refresh the page
- Vacancy Id and Posting Identifier must be configured
- Delete the entry for StepStone in the list of Recruiting Channels
- Create the entry again
- Click on the three dots and select + New Vacancy publishing

Hint
- To re-publish a vacany, you can use a vacancy that has already been published in the past:
- Just open the desired vacancy and use the Business Process Flow to navigate back to the desired publishing stage. Make sure in stage 7 ('Post-processing'), the field 'All positions filled' is set to No. Also renew the Expiration Date.
- Save your changes. After that, you can continue as usual to publish your vacancy again.
Tips & Tricks
If you were not able to configure the Recruiting Channel for StepStone as described above, please check the following:
- You need to be HR Manager or Recruiter to be allowed to configure a Recruiting Channel
- If your Vacancy cannot be successfully submitted to StepStone after re-configuration, please contact your contact person at StepStone
- If you receive an error message with "Status Code 209", please contact StepStone directly. This error message means there's something wrong with the processing of your StepStone account.
