Set up the German Labor Office integration

Objective

HR for Dynamics allows you to integrate the German Labor Office as a Recruiting channel for Vacancies. This guide supports you in submitting your created Vacancies to the employer portal for the German Labor Office.

Prerequisites

  • You are an HR Manager
  • When installing your HR Solution, your have imported the package HR for Dynamics Installer with Base Data for German Labor Office
    • If you are unsure whether this package has been imported during your HR solution setup, you can find a tutorial for how to check it here.

Click Through Part 1: Configuration of the application channel
  • Start in HR HUB
  • In the lower left corner, switch from Overview to Settings
  • Navigate to Recruiting Channels
  • Open the entry "Federal Employment Agency"
  • Fill in the Supplementary Information (this is provided by the Federal Employment Agency)
  • Navigate to the Timeline in the tab Activities & Notes
  • Click on the paper clip icon
  • Add the certificate that you have received from the Federal Employment Agency
  • Save
  • Check if Vacancy Id and Posting Identifier have been configured (information here)
  • Navigate to your Vacancy
  • Delete the entry Federal Employment Agency from the list of Recruiting channels
  • Select +New Vacancy publishing
  • Create the entry again (Screenshot)

 

Click Through Part 2: Publish your Vacancy

  • Start in HR HUB or HR HUB Recruiting
  • Navigate to Vacancies
  • Open the vacancy you would like to publish
  • Make sure that the Vacancy Id is automatically filled  (if this is not the case, see here for more information)
  • Select +New Vacancy publishing
  • Select "Federal Employment Agency" as the application channel
  • Save
  • Navigate to the Details tab
  • Fill in all fields under Recruiting Contact Details
  • In particular, fill in the data in the fields "Interview Location" under "Vacancy Details" and "Job Location" under "Job Details"
  • Switch to the tab External Job Boards
  • Select "Federal Employment Agency" under "Validation - Show Required Fields For"
  • Save
  • Navigate to the Summary tab
  • Select Federal Employment Agency from the list of Recruiting channels
  • Click on None and then on Start (Screenshot)
  • Now the process of publishing your Vacancy with the Federal Employment Agency begins
  • Save

Hint

  • You can only configure Recruiting channels if yo are HR Manager or HR Recruiter
  • Be careful not to deactivate the entry or create a new entry with the same name
  • There should be no entries with duplicate names
