Potential Analysis: Company-wide performance potential matrix

Objective

The objective of this guide is to instruct HR Managers and Supervisors on the process of analyzing company-wide performance potential matrix data.
The Performance Potential Analysis can be viewed on the Potential Performance grid to assess employees against their peers in order to identify where they stand at a Job Title, Departmental, or Organizational level.

Click Through

  • HR Managers start in HR HUB
  • Supervisors start in HR HUB Manager Self-Services and in the lower left corner, switch from 'My Time & Leave' to Team Development
  • Under Talent Management, click on Potential Analysis
  • Here, you can review data for all company members

Hint

  • The numbers in the respective fields represent the number of employees in your company whose Performance and Potential lie within that field.
    • In the example screenshot below, there are 4 employees in the company who show both medium Potential and medium Performance.
  • If you click on one of the fields in the matrix, the employee list on the right will be filtered to show only the employees whose Performance and Potential match the selected field.
    • If you were to click on the middle field inside the example screenshot, the list on the right would display the 4 employees who have medium Potential and show a medium Performance.
    • To show the complete list with all employees again, click on 'Remove Filter' directly above the employee list.
  • The icon next to every employee's name is an additional visualization of their Performance and Potential data. An empty grid icon means there has not yet been any Performance- or Potential Data saved in that employee's Digital Personnel File.
    • You can directly double-click on an employee in the list to jump to their Digital Personnel File.
