Potential Analysis: Enter data

Objective

The objective of this guide is to instruct Supervisors on the entry of potential analysis data in to an employee's Digital Personnel File.  The Performance Potential analysis assesses employees' performance and their potential and provides this information in a visual manner. 

The Performance Potential Analysis can be viewed on the Potential Performance grid to assess employees against their peers in order to identify where they stand at a Job Title, Departmental, or Organizational level.

Process

Supervisor
Reviews data from employee evaluation
Supervisor
Records potential and performance data based on analysis of review data

Click Through

  • Start in HR HUB Manager Self-Services
  • In the lower left corner, switch from 'My Time & Leave' to Manager Self-Services
  • Under Administration, click on Employees
  • Open the file of the desired employee
  • Go to the tab Performance
  • Under Performance Potential Evaluation, adjust the sliders to depict the employee's Performance and Potential
  • Save

Hint

  • The grid view next to the sliders for Performance and Potential visualizes your employee's performance. It will automatically adjust as you move the sliders.
  • Entering this data for many employees allows for the system to create a company-wide performance-potential matrix. See more information here.

Tips & Tricks

In case you were not able to enter your employee's potential analysis data as described above, please contact your HR department and have them check the following:
  • Users involved must have valid licenses assigned
  • Digital Personnel File of the employee has been created in the system
  • The supervisor has been added as the responsible supervisor in the employee's digital personnel file [Business data tab]
