Info page: Learning Types

Objective

HR for Dynamics gives you several options to differentiate your training plans / trainings & learning modules. This distinction is made in the fields Learning Type & Learning Classification. The selection of a type does not trigger an automatic process, nor are there any dependencies. The selection of these fields is an information for your trainee to know what type of training it is.
This functionality becomes available with Rollup Update 42.

Definition of Learning Types

Below you can see the choices for learning types and how they are differentiated in the learning context:
Type Definition Example Comparison

Workshop Workshops are moderated working groups whose goal is to find solutions to problems, work through issues or promote the development of new ideas and innovations. Workshop Employer Branding: We were not given any lessons on what exactly employer branding is in detail and why you need this. In contrast to seminars and training sessions, there is no (or little) input from the workshop leader. The essential task is to create a framework through moderation and guidance to enable effective and efficient work on the objectives.
Coaching Coaching is the professional accompaniment and personal support of persons with management and control functions as well as experts in companies. Coaching: "How do I lead a team" --> A new manager receives (intensive) advice from a coach on how to lead a team, since the coach already has the professional and personal prerequisites. Coaching is a process in which the integrating part of already existing skills and abilities plays a more essential role. While trainers have specific expertise that they impart to trainees, coaches bring a more neutral and broader perspective. The coach focuses on the existing resources and potentials, motivates and promotes their use and implementation.
Blended Learning Blended learning combines the two different forms of learning face-to-face and e-learning. A training consists of several learning modules that have different forms. This means the classification of the training is hybrid with the learning type Blended Learning
