This page takes you through the process of how to pre-configure Mailboxes for your Hubdrive solution.
This configuration allows incoming and outgoing e-mails, as well as appointments, contacts, and tasks to be synchronized to the server side.

Prerequisites
- Hubdrive is installed
- Licenses for the employees are correctly assigned (license which includes Exchange)
Click Through
- Start in the Power Platform Admin Center
- Navigate to Environments in the left menu
- Select the desired environment
- In the grey top bar, click on Settings
- Under E-mail, select Email settings
- Use the following settings for synchronization methods:
- Server profile: Microsoft Exchange Online
- Incoming e-mails: Server-Side Synchronization
- Outgoing e-mails: Server-Side Synchronization
- Appointments, Contacts, and Tasks: Server-Side Synchronization
- Save the settings
- Navigate back to Settings and under Email, select Mailboxes
- In the drop-down menu above, switch from 'My active Mailboxes' to Active Mailboxes
- Mark the actual users and click on Edit in the top bar
- Now you can change the synchronization method for all selected records:
- Incoming email messages: Server-side synchronization or Email Router
- Outgoing e-mail messages: Server-side synchronization or Email Router
- Appointments, contacts, and tasks: Server-side synchronization
- Click Change
- Back in your list, make sure the users are still selected and click on Approve e-mail
- Confirm with OK
- Back in your list, make sure the users are still selected and click on Test and Activate Mailbox
- Confirm the e-mail configuration with OK
- Once the process is complete, you will see the following configuration test results:
- Status of incoming e-mails: Success
- Status of outgoing e-mails: Success
- Status of appointments, contacts and tasks: Success
- It may take a few minutes until the test results are displayed.
Hint
- The process must be performed for all users, including the generic admin user
- Once Test Mailbox and Approve is selected, the mailbox owners will receive emails
- After the process, if the term Success is not visible in the drop-down menus under the configuration test results, click Warnings in the left menu and view more details

- After pre-configuring the Mailboxes, you need to enable Auditing.
