Install Addon: Self Service for Team Member Licenses (optional)

Objective

This page takes you through the process of installing the optional addon "Self Service for Team Member Licenses" in your HR for Dynamics solution. You don't have to use this addon, but you can choose to install it optionally if it provides value to your organization.

This addon will allows users with a Microsoft Team Member License to use self-service functionalities in HR for Dynamics.

Prerequisites

  • You have System Admin rights when running the installer
  • You have access to the Customer Portal for downloads and guides (two users were invited by us)
  • Correctly set up an Environment with a base language of English, German, or French
  • Downloaded and installed "Solution Installer incl. Base Data" and "HR for Dynamics Flows"

Click Through

  • Navigate to the Customer Portal
  • Log in with your credentials
  • Click on Downloads
  • From the list of optional downloads, download the Addon "Self Service for Team Member Licenses"
  • Navigate to PowerApps
  • Log in with the admin account you created with your new environment
  • Click on Solutions on the left
  • In the right half of the top bar, select the Environment you created for your HR solution
  • Click Import Solution in the grey top bar
  • Select the file with the addon you downloaded
  • Click Next
  • Make sure in the Advanced Settings, the checkmark for Enable Plugin steps and flows included in the solution is checked
  • Click Next
  • Done! The optional addon is now being imported and will be installed in your environment.

Result

After following all the steps, the addon is imported to your environment and ready to use. You will be notified about the import in Power Apps like this:
