Sections of Digital Personnel File (HR Manager): Business Data

Objective

The objective of this page is to show in detail all the parts of one section of the Employee´s Digital Personnel File, in this case, the Business Data tab.

Detailed view

The section Business Data can be divided in 4 sectors:
General information (screenshot)

This field is self-explanatory, and can be filled in freely.
Please note that Last Name and Gender are mandatory fields.

Professional information (screenshot) In this section you can freely enter the Language, the Full-Time Equivalent, and the Job Title.
You can select the Job Profile, the Manager and the Cost Center from previously created records.
Important to note, as soon as the department has been selected, the field is locked and can only be changed via a dialog. (Tutorial for Department Change)
Work Address (screenshot) In this area you can enter the employee´s business address. Only the country is not a free field, but offers a selection of all Areas defined in your system.
Timeline (screenshot) You can use the Timeline to schedule or simply track activities, such as phone calls, emails or appointments.

  • Start in HR HUB
  • Go to Employees
  • Open the desired employee's file
  • When the record opens, Business Data will be the first tab.

Details

Depending on the activity, appointments are automatically created in Outlook for the persons concerned and / or emails are sent. Replies to emails are also stored here. For new employees, for example, you can access email correspondence from the recruiting phase and access important information there.
In the notes you can enter free notes or attach documents. For example, you could scan sick certificates or declarations of confidentiality and attach them here so that you can access them at any time.

To attach a document, simply click the paper clip icon in the top right part of the timeline.
