Onboarding- and Offboarding-processes

Objective

This tutorial shows you how to assign an Onboarding Template to a new employee. Onboarding Templates allow you to standardize your Onboarding process, e.g. by defining which tasks have to be done before the employee starts and which trainings the new employee needs to attend after their start date.

Existing Onboarding Templates can easily be assigned to new employees, as shown in this tutorial.

Prerequisites

  • Make sure you are an HR Manager or Recruiter and have a valid license assigned
  • An Onboarding Template has already been created
  • The employee already has a Digital Personnel File

Click Through

  • Start in HR HUB
  • Under Administration, click on Employees
  • Open the file of the desired employee
  • Go to the tab HR Details
  • Navigate to Employment Terms and Onboarding - Offboarding
  • Select the appropriate type
  • A dialog opens, fill in these fields accordingly
    • The Employee is starting on: Based on this date, the timing of the project, as defined in the template, is calculated
    • Find: If you have inserted a placeholder in the template name, you can search for it here
    • Replace: Enter here what you want to replace the placeholder with
    • Assignment of tasks and project nodes in the generated project: Select here whether you want to assign tasks and project nodes to the people defined in the template or to yourself. If you assign the tasks to yourself, you can later assign them individually
    • Copy Notes from the template?: Choose here whether you want to copy the notes from the template or not
  • Confirm your entries by clicking Next
  • The project is now created for your employee. You can find it in the overview of onboarding/offboarding projects.
