Add a Successor to a Position

Objective

This guide will show HR Managers how to assign a successor to a Position by adding the prospective employee, their performance, and potential ratings. Assigning a successor to a position is a helpful tool in Position planning.

Prerequisites

  • You are HR Manager
  • A position has already been created

Click Through

  • Start in HR HUB
  • Under Administration, click on Positions
  • Open the desired entry
  • Select the Successors Tab
  • Click on +New Successor
  • Select the desired employee
  • Check if the Position is correct
  • Select the appropriate Performance level
  • Select the appropriate Potential level
  • Select the appropriate Exit Risk level
  • Save & Close

Hint

  • Performance level: here you can enter a general performance evaluation of the successor
  • Potential level: here you can enter the general potential of the successor
  • Exit Risk level: here you can enter the general exit risk of the successor
  • The exit risk of the job assignment is retrieved from the digital personnel file of the assigned employee and filled in here.
