Overview of working with Trainings
Objective
Information on the Training Plan structure
You create the training plan structure to provide your trainees with specific training content and allow them to follow a direct learning path. The training plan structure takes the learner by the hand, so to speak, and provides a specific direction, including the order in which they should complete learning modules or training courses.
The key difference to the certificate structure is that in the case of certificates and their underlying (presupposed) skill levels, there is no path for achieving these skill levels. This is because some skill levels may already have been achieved by the employee. (For example, language skills, if an employee already speaks fluent English and this is a requirement for a certificate).
You can also use the certificate structure to compare your employees. If you roll out the same certificate to several employees, you can see at the end which employee has achieved which skill grade.

Working with the Training Plan structure
- You can use our training module to create global templates. You can roll out these templates centrally to any number of employees. Your trainees then receive the same training plan content to work with.
- The training admin / HR manager can coordinate and organize the dates centrally via the Training Events.
- Exams are optional elements. Within the training structure, they serve as proof that a training course or training plan has been completed and verified by means of an examination.
Recommendations
- It is recommended that you roll out exams using either the training plan structure or the certificate structure to prevent duplicates.
- Also read the information on the Certificate Structure to understand how to best work with both structures.
