Create a Training Demand

Objective

The objective of Training Demand is to depict which trainings, training plans or exams need to be organized and rolled out. The Training Demand is taken from Review Details, which are created during an employee Review. There are multiple views of Training Demand:
Training Demand (Review Detail in which the employee and a specific training template have been selected)
Training Plan Demand (Review Detail in which the employee and a specific training plan template have been selected)
Exam Demand (Review Detail in which the employee and a specific exam template have been selected)

The Demand is meant to inform the HR Manager or Training Admin, which training plans / exams / trainings are to be rolled out via the Rollout Center.

Process

Supervisor
Conducts a Review with an employee
Supervisor
Creates a Review Detail and enters the employee as well as the respective template
HR Manager
Opens the list of Training Demand and sees what needs to be rolled out
HR Manager
Rolls out the respective templates

Prerequisites

  • HR Manager, Supervisor and Employee have valid licenses assigned
  • This functionality becomes available with Rollup Update 42

Click Through

Create a Review Detail (Supervisor):
  • Start in HR HUB Manager Self-Service
  • Switch to Team Development in the lower left corner
  • Under Talent Management, click on Reviews
  • Open the desired Review
  • Navigate to the tab Targets
  • Click on + New Review Detail
  • The Quick Entry opens. Here, you can directly fill in the field Training / Training Plan / Exam as needed.
  • The employee is assigned automatically
  • Save & Close

Retrieve the Training Demand (HR Manager):

  • Start in HR HUB
  • Click on Training Demand under Training
  • A list opens which shows all open training demand of your employees
  • Click on Open Training Demand to change the view
  • You can also determine the demand for Training Plans and Exams by using the respective view
  • You can then use this information to roll out the needed Training Plans, Trainings and Exams

  • Result

    Once the process is complete, you will have a Training Demand created based on the feedback from a completed employee review. The Training Admin or HR Manager can then use this information to roll out the needed Training Plans, Trainings and/or Exams.
