LMS 365 usage for Trainers / Admins

Objective

With the LMS365 integration, you can combine HR for Dynamics and LMS365. The advantage is that you can combine the benefits of both worlds by letting your Employees follow the training path in LMS in HR for Dynamics. After completing the course, the linked Skill Levels are automatically transferred to the employee's Digital Personnel File.

Prerequisites

  • LMS365 Integration is successfully set up
  • You need Licenses from LMS365 - please get in contact with them

Click Through

  • Start in HR HUB
  • Under Training click on Trainings
  • Click on + New
  • Switch to the LMS365 Form
    • You can do this via the drop-down below the training title
  • Give it a Name
  • The Type is always E-Learning
  • You can also add Training Categories
    • The integration also automatically creates the category in LMS365 in the background - This is the training catalog in LMS
  • Additionally, you can add a Certificate and Skill Levels
    • You can also store certificates only in LMS365; if an employee successfully completes the course (for the first time), a global certificate is automatically created in HR for Dynamics and a corresponding certification is created for the employee with the linked certificate
  • Save
  • The course is then created in LMS365 in the background and the Course URL field is filled in automatically.
    • This link will take you to the LMS environment.
  • Additionally, the system will create a Training Event.
    • This is important because your employees who enroll in the course will be added as Registered Participants.
    • Once the course has been completed, your employees will change from Registered Participants to Completed Participants.
  • You must then maintain the course content in LMS. You can find more information about this here.
  • Once you have created your course catalog, it is now visible to your employees and your employees can then register for the course.
  • As soon as the course has been completed, the employee receives the stored certificate as certification and the stored skill levels are transferred to the employee's digital personnel file.

Result

Here you can see a Training in HR for Dynamics, which already has the Type E-Learning and the corresponding URL.
