Create Template for Target Review

Objective

Employee Target Reviews are used to establish a training goal for employees, these can be for any number of skills such as professional, language, and more.  This guide is designed to show HR Managers how to create Employee Target Review Templates for use in Manager/Employee Review or 360° Reviews that involve the participation of an employee's peer-group.

Prerequisites

  • Start in HR HUB
  • In the lower left corner, switch from Overview to Settings
  • Under Talent Management, navigate to Review Templates
  • Click on + New
  • Name the New Review Template with a fitting description
  • Assign a Job Profile if the Review Template will be applied based on an employee Job Profile
  • Assign a Template Type, this should be based on the frequency of review this template will be used for
  • In the Include Skills dropdown, select which Skills should be taken into account for the Review Template
  • Enter a Valid From date
  • Enter a Valid To date
  • If needed, edit the record Owner, this person will be responsible for the Review Template
  • Save
  • Two new tables will appear, navigate to the 'Review Template Targets' table and select + New Review Detail
  • Enter an appropriate Name for the Review Detail
  • From the drop-down menu select the Type - Target
  • (optional) Identify and select the Training required for the employee Target
  • (optional) Identify the Training Plan that the employee is required to use in order to meet the identified training Target
  • Identify and select the Skill that the employee Target Review is based on
  • Select the Required skill grade being set as a Target for the employee
  • Save & Close
  • Add more Review Details to the Target Review until all required skills have been added as Targets
  • Save & Close

Hint

  • Target Review Templates can be applied to both Manager/Employee Review and 360° Reviews.
