- 'Training Plan Type' should always be the type 'Template' when creating a new Training Plan Template
- Content Path gives you the option to create an online learning path. This means you can add any external URL, e.g. to SharePoint
- Content File allows you to store Training Content files after saving for the first time
- Provider allows you to enter information about the Training Provider
- Contact is the person your employee can turn to if questions arise about the Training Plan
- This person needs to be registered as a Trainer!

- A Department can be added to identify Training Plans that are specific to a Department in the organization
- The Duration is the total amount of time, in hours or days, that the Training Plan will take to complete.
- Status reasons:
- Enrolled: This is the first status reason, which means that the training plan has been freshly rolled out for the respective employees.
- Planning: Means that the employee is scheduled to complete the training plan.
- Progress: This status reason is set as soon as your employee has started the training plan.
- Save
- Existing Trainings can be added to the Training Plan by selecting Add Existing Training in the Trainings grid
Hint
- Training Plan Templates should always be recorded as 'Template' for Training Plan Type, this is because a copy is automatically created in the Rollout Center that becomes a 'Usage' type. You can read more about this here.
