Create Work Certificates in the solution

Objective

If an employee leaves the company, they receive a Work Certificate that rates their performance while working at the company. Alternatively, an employee can also request their work certificate without leaving the company. This page will guide you through processing an employee Work Certificate request. 

Process

Employee
Requests Work Certificate
HR Manager
Creates Work Certificate and assigns is to the employee's Supervisor
Supervisor
Rates the employee for Work Certificate detail
HR Manager
Creates Word Document for Work Certificate and gives the work certificate to the employee

Prerequisites

  • You are HR Manager and have a valid license assigned
  • Work Certificate Ratings have been created, if you want to use others than those delivered out-of-the-box

Click Through

 

  • HR Manager receives the Work Certificate HR Request and assigns it to the employee's supervisor or the person designated for rating the Work Certificate:
  • Start in HR HUB
  • Under My Work, click on HR Requests
  • Open the HR Request designated as Work Certificate request
  • Based on the information in the HR Request, you can create a Work Certificate for the employee
  • Under Administration, click on Work Certificates
  • Click on + New
  • Enter the Employee based on the HR Request 
  • Select a Certificate Category using the drop-down options 
  • Select a Certificate Issue Reason using the drop-down options 
  • Enter a Work Certificate Issue Date 
  • Enter a Rating Manager, this should be the employee's direct supervisor, or whoever is responsible for the employee's work certificate rating. 
    • If the Manager is filled in the employee's Digital Personnel File, this field will automatically be filled when saving the record.
  • Save 
  • Using the 'Assign' function in the ribbon, assign the Work Certificate to the employee's supervisor or the person responsible for the employee's Work Certificate rating  (Screenshot)
  • The Work Certificate will now be assigned to and accessible by the Supervisor 

 

 

  • Once the Supervisor has completed their input in to the Work Certificate, the HR Manager can finalize the Work Certificate:
  • In the Business Process Flow, click on Rating 
  • Review the information entered for accuracy, then select Next Stage 
  • In the Business Process Flow, click on Issuing 
  • Review the information entered for accuracy under the 'Issuing' section
  • Enter a Handed over on date, this should be the date the date the employee completed a handover of their duties
  • Select Finish

Result

Once the Work Certificate is created in the solution, the next step is to create a Word Document from it which you can hand out to the employee.
