Checklist: Initial Setup for a new employee
Objective
This page is a checklist for all you need to do as an HR manager to configure first-time use for a newly hired employee in Hubdrive Time & Attendance.
Prerequisites
- You are HR Manager and want to set up Time & Attendance for a newly hired employee
Checklist
- Assign a license to the employee
- Digital Personnel File
- Fill the Time Zone field
- Assign an Employment Term
- If your company uses Time Clock Terminals: Configure Badge - needed for time clock terminals
- Give the badge to the employee
- Configure Work patterns (optional - if the employee has irregular work hours)
- Assign the fitting Shift to the employee (optional - if the employee works in shifts)
- Go to Time Summaries
- Generate the first Time Summary. After first use, the system will create future Time Summaries automatically.
Result
After following all these steps, your new employee is set up in the system and ready to use the Time and Attendance module.
